“1500 rowdy college kids, 4 years in the making, two stools, one moment in time.  A rebirth? Maybe. A rekindle? Most likely.  What ever you call it, it’s something that had needed to happen for a long, long time.  Kolton Moore came back, and for those that questioned the nature of the hiatus, you can check your speculations and opinions at the door. No apologies. Kolton came to play his music, and what we all witnessed was more like a re-awakening of a juggernaut.” - Aaron Bentley, Texas Red Dirt Roads

"It's hard to find music that I can listen to all day long, but this does it for me. " - The Arrogant Texan

"If you look at Kolton Moore, you may be surprised that such a dark, bluesy voice comes from such a young man. I’m sure Moore still gets carded at R-rated movies. But damn, can he bring the heat with his almost raspy, soulful croon." - Thomas D. Mooney, The Blue Light Live

“if the only way to listen to ur music was through a walkie talkie i’d still never turn it off” - @rachelslathar

After recording and releasing the “Love Me Instead” EP in early 2012, Kolton Moore gathered a group of local musicians and began attracting attention throughout Texas with soulful and passionate live shows.

Kolton Moore & the Clever Few released their first full length album, "Dear Mom," in late January of 2013, and followed it up with another full length album, "How Did I Get Here" in January 2014. They spent those years playing live all over Texas, sharing stages with other artists and bands including William Clark Green, Whiskey Myers, Thieving Birds, Koe Wetzel, American Aquarium, and more.

In 2016, Kolton released “Lone Wolf”, a 4 song acoustic EP that had been recorded a few years earlier. He released another single, “I’ll Still Miss You” in 2018.

After a 5 year hiatus, the band reunited in late 2019 to record new songs and “Everything Has Changed” was published on January 3rd, 2020.

They followed it up with a video of a live performance of a new song, “Home, Heartbreak, & Women”, that they recorded and released in early 2021.
