“1500 rowdy college kids, 4 years in the making, two stools, one moment in time. A rebirth? Maybe. A rekindle? Most likely. What ever you call it, it’s something that had needed to happen for a long, long time. Kolton Moore came back, and for those that questioned the nature of the hiatus, you can check your speculations and opinions at the door. No apologies. Kolton came to play his music, and what we all witnessed was more like a re-awakening of a juggernaut.” - Aaron Bentley, Texas Red Dirt Roads
"It's hard to find music that I can listen to all day long, but this does it for me. " - The Arrogant Texan
"If you look at Kolton Moore, you may be surprised that such a dark, bluesy voice comes from such a young man. I’m sure Moore still gets carded at R-rated movies. But damn, can he bring the heat with his almost raspy, soulful croon." - Thomas D. Mooney, The Blue Light Live
Kolton Moore drew together a tight group of talented friends in the spring of 2012 to begin a musical journey that has taken him to countless bars and venues across Texas. After releasing a 4 track EP to critical acclaim, the band immediately began attracting attention in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas Country music scene with their fresh and bold approach to songwriting and energetic and powerful live performances.
The band continued to grow their audience by playing multiple weekly shows in any venue where they could set up a PA. They released their first full length album, Dear Mom, in late January of 2013, and followed it up with their second full length album, How Did I Get Here in January 2014.
They soon found themselves sharing a stage with a welcoming group of Texas Country greats including William Clark Green, Whiskey Myers, Phil Hamilton, Koe Wetzel, Mike Ryan, and many more.
After an long break from touring and playing shows, Kolton released the Lone Wolf EP in late 2016, and returned to play a sold out acoustic show in Stephenville, Texas with Koe Wetzel in July 2018. Kolton released a new single, I'll Still Miss You, the following month.
